San Saba Pecan - About Us

		About Us The Las Cruces division of San Saba Pecan was established in
	1989 by R.D. "Buddy" Adams and Phillip Arnold as a buying station to purchase local pecans for a larger corporation based in San Saba, Texas.

Each year during pecan season, from about November 15 to April 15 we sold in-shell and

shelled pecans and a limited selections of candies, but everyone kept asking for more and for year round sales.

So in 1995 we started keeping the gift shop open 12 months out of the year. During the season we buy pecans in quantities from 1 lb. to 50,000 lb. truck load lots from local pecan growers and people who have 1 to an indefinite number of trees in their backyard. We are open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm then and during the summer months we are open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday thru Saturday. We carry a wide line of pecan products, chili products, dehydrated foods, knick knacks, and home interior products.

Our line of miscellaneous products is too large to put on the web page and because some of the items are one of a kind and hard to find items, so we suggest that you phone or write in reference to candles, angels , fan pulls, toys, ceramics, games, etc.

PARENT COMPANY
The parent company, San Saba Pecan, Inc. was established in 1973 in the heart of the pecan belt in central Texas, knows as the pecan captal of the world. Under new ownership, San Saba Pecan, LP reorganized in 2003. Along wiht new and state of the art shelling equipment, San Saba Pecan, LP has added more pecan producing locations. We have producing orchards in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma and we will continue increasing our existing orchards, along with adding new ones.
